What is the secret that purifies air and maintains a refreshing environment
in a forest?
The secret is in the workings of the volatilized natural essential oils
called phytoncide and the microorganisms abounding in forests. Odor particles
are either neutralized by phytoncide emanating from trees or digested by
microorganisms. This is a natural mechanism of forests to protect themselves
and maintain deodorized and purified air.
The deodorizer used in Deodor odor control systems utilizes this deodorizing
faculty of nature to literally recreate the refreshing air of a forest
in your living space.
Only gaseous deodorizer can annihilate wafting indoor odors.
Odor substances waft through the air as gaseous matter. That is why effective
deodorizer must also be gaseous matter. Only gaseous deodorizer can emanate
into the air to directly confront all of the odor substances everywhere
in the entire room and prevent malodor from diffusing from its source.
Many air cleaners, air purifiers and air conditioners also have a deodorizing
function, but the air that they deodorize is limited to that which gets
sucked in and passes through their deodorizing filters. None of them are

Deodorizing Mechanism
Volatilized botanical essential oils called phytoncide intercept airborne

amount of phytoncide into the room, a refreshing indoor environment (called
the grefreshing zoneh) can be maintained.
Note: Blends of natural botanical essential oils extracted from several
to several dozen kinds of plants are used to produce the phytoncide. Blending
essential oils mutually enhances their respective efficacy and enables
accurate targeting of any odor substance.
Refreshing Relaxing Effect
The reason you feel relaxed and refreshed when you take a deep breath in a forest is the result of an increase in alpha wave activity in the brain. Phytoncide increases alpha waves, which in turn brings on an invigorating feeling and alleviates stress.
