For Exhaust Air|Outlet nozzle inserted in fanfs negative pressure zone.
Note: A fan is needed if the nozzle is inserted into the fanfs positive
pressure zone.
OER = Number of Exhaust Volume Cubic Meters per Minute ~ Odor Concentration*
Note: For existing buildings, actual measurements of exhaust volume and
odor concentration are used to calculate the OER. For buildings to be newly
constructed, estimates are used.
*If the odor concentration fluctuates, the average odor concentration is
used for the calculation.
Model OER Capacity = OER ~ 1.5 to 2
Allowing for odor concentration fluctuations, select a model capable of
handling 150-200% of the OER calculated in T.
Necessary Amount = OER Deodorizer OER Capacity*
*Deodorizer OER capacity is the OER that one deodorizer pack can handle.
| Beads Type 100g Pack | 10,000 |
| Beads Type 1kg Pack (IND) | 100,000 |
Note: An even number of packs is preferable so that half of the amount can be replaced at the halfway point of their effective life.
1 Nozzle per 300~300mm
E.g.) One nozzle for duct size 500~300mm, Two nozzles for duct size 500~500mm
The nozzle is preferably inserted longitudinally across the duct to enable
maximum contact with offensive odor substances.
Shorten the nozzle to fit inside the duct by cutting off any excess length.

For exhaust air volume under 50m3/min
As a rule of thumb, use the following numerical values as the estimated
odor concentration (for DRY 1 and 2) in the exhaust air of each type of factory.
Note: We recommend that actual odor measurements be made for existing buildings.
(Consult with us to take advantage of our odor measuring service.)
| Exhaust Air Type | Estimated Odor Concentration | Essential oil deodorizer recommended |
| Painting/printing factory | 3,000-5,000 | Woody Mild Blend |
| FRP product manufacturing factory | 3,000-5,000 | |
| Rubber factory | 3,000-5,000 | |
| School meal-producing center | 1,000-2,000 | Mild Blend |
| Food manufacturing factory | 3,000-5,000 | |
| Meat processing/fertilizer factory | 1,000-3,000 | Strong Blend |
| Industrial waste relay station | 1,000-3,000 |

Odor concentration measurement data obtained by triangular odor bag method*
*Standard olfactory measurement method adopted by Japanese government
A main feature of our odor-neutralizing systems is that they change the very essence of malodors as they weaken them. The essence of malodors literally metamorphoses into that of a refreshing fragrance.
